Adam was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. Active in sports his whole life, he played baseball and wrestled in high school before getting a scholarship to play baseball at Louisburg College in North Carolina. Plans of getting drafted to play professional baseball fell short when a career ending injury sent Adam straight to a long term rehabilitation program where he gained the insight of how important a personal trainer can be to anyone, even a high level athlete.
Adam finished college and continued his education through the National Academy of Sports Medicine where he became a Certified Personal Trainer. In 2001, Adam began his personal training career at FitCare Life Center in Huntersville, North Carolina. Adam trained a wide variety of clientele from all ages and walks of life. Adam is highly experienced in endurance training, weight management, muscle enhancement, sports specific and many different levels of disabilities.
After learning from some of the top personaltrainers in the Charlotte area, Adam transferred to Bally Total Fitness. He was quickly promoted to become the Personal Training Director. Adam's duties were to hire and train a staff of 24 highly certified personal trainers to get the best results for their clients. Adam was beyond successful, not by the awards his team won, but by seeing several hundred clients achieve their goals and the results they set out for.
After Adam's daughter, Kayleigh Anne Freeman, went to Heaven in May 2009, Adam packed up and moved to start a new life in Wilmington, NC. Kayleigh had taught Adam more about giving than receiving, which has completely changed Adam's outlook on life.
He is highly involved with the March of Dimes and American Heart Association. Kayleigh (A One Pound Blessing from God) was a miracle and touched many lives across the globe through her miraculous journey.

As a man who wants to be a strong leader and do God's will, Adam puts other people's lives in front of his own and wants to take the knowledge that God has blessed him with for the sole purpose of changing as many lives as he possibly can through fitness.
If you ever see Adam out somewhere, don't forget to say hello because you will certainly get a gentle welcoming in return.
